In Year 1, in Geography, we have been learning all about our local area. As part of this topic, we have used maps to take a closer look at Ottery St Mary and learnt about the different symbols that can be used to represent places.
We took a trip out into Ottery St Mary to see the variety of places for ourselves and started to think about what jobs people can do in our town.
We were lucky to be invited into Ottery’s library to find out about what being a ‘librabrian’ would involve. Lot’s of us who aren’t already library members were excited to join after visiting!
