Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). Grade E16 – E22 (£23,369 – £26,317 per annum pro rata).
Applications are invited for the post of Higher Level Teaching Assistant. Applicants must hold a HLTA qualification.
Ideally you will have a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and experience of working with pupils with a range of needs. You will have initiative and be a confident communicator, with effective numeracy and literacy skills and knowledge communication and interaction difficulties.
This is ideally a full time position of 26.25 hrs per week (term time only). The post is temporary until 31st July 2021 in the first instance due to anticipated changes in funding.
Candidates will:
– Be passionate about securing the best possible outcomes for all children in the school
– Be able to prioritise tasks efficiently and effectively.
– Be flexible and adaptable with a good sense of humour
– Be qualified to HLTA level

Meal Time Assistant (MTA). Grade A6 (£16,394 per annum pro rata).
Permanent Mealtime Assistant required Spring term 2020 to support lunchtime provision in the school The post is being advertised on a term time only basis. Ideally the position will be offered and accepted on a full-time basis although part-time arrangements will be considered.
Hours: 6.25 per week (12.00-1.15) over 38 weeks per annum
Salary: £9.00 per hour
We are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic individual to assist at meal times.
The successful candidate will:
– Have a passion for working with children
– Show ability to support children’s feeding/eating under supervision and to understand that this activity is a part of their learning.
– Motivate children in their play and learning.
– A willingness to contribute to the general ethos of the school.
– A strong ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults is essential.
