Earlier this term in DT, Year 2 researched and designed soft toys.
We learnt how to use a running stitch, an over stitch, thread a needle and a tie a knot and after lots of practice, the children used their new skills to make their designs come to life. We think their toys are amazing and would like to thank all our helpers for giving up their time to support the children with their new techniques.
The children had great fun making their soft toys, learning new skills and being creative.
