Today Year 3 were lucky enough to have a few special visitors to provide some hands-on learning  about habitats and adaptations. Linked to our new Science topic of Animals Including Humans and our Rainforest topic too, ‘Ranger Russ’ bought in some weird and wonderful animals to share with us, generating a great sense of excitement.

We all had enjoyable, hands on and memorable experience whilst soaking up lots of information and interesting facts about how animals adapt to survive in their habitat.

A huge thank you to the PTA for helping make this wonderful, enriching learning experience happen.  Thanks to their generous donation, we were able to cover the cost for this amazing afternoon.

We absolutely loved meeting Brain (Giant African Land Snail), Poppy (Leopard Gecko), Bob (Madagascan Hissing Cockroach), Dorris (Kenyan San Boa Constrictor) and Ruby (Boa Constrictor).
