Ottery Fire Station

To draw our topic about The Great Fire of London to a conclusion, we visited our local fire station. Here we heard all about the role of a modern fighter and how they keep us safe, comparing it to a fire fighter from the seventeenth century. The children really enjoyed learning about what a fire fighter does and were especially excited about setting fire to our Tudor houses and reenacting The Great Fire of London.
