Year 2 have been getting active in Science to see how exercise can affect our bodies. We have recently been learning how to keep healthy by looking at different groups of food that we should eat often, sometimes and occasionally. After designing our own healthy lunch box, we set up an experiment to see how our bodies felt after taking part in different exercises.
As you can see from our photos, the children thoroughly enjoyed running, throwing, skipping, catching and hula hooping. Some of us even noticed the difference in our heart rate and how we became breathless.
