We had cause for lots of celebration today when the whole school gathered together for a final assembly before Christmas. We have had a busy term and are very proud of all the hard work of the pupils and staff over the past few months.

One person who has worked especially hard is Brenna in Year 5, who is the first person this academic year to earn a ‘Bronze’ house certificate for collecting 50 house points. Congratulations Brenna.

We also celebrated our latest round of ‘Barrel Winners’, whose raffle tickets were pulled out from their house barrels. Raffle tickets are awarded for excellent learning and behaviour in and around school. Each winner received one of our unique school badges and had their ticket entered into the ‘golden barrel’ for the super draw at the end of the year. Well done to all!

It was lovely for us all to come together and sing some snippets from the different Christmas Performances that have been happening over the last couple of weeks.  Some keen teachers even got a chance to join in with the ‘kazoo’ section of one of the Year 3/4 songs!

We wish everyone a very happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you back in January.
