WELCOME TO FOUNDATION STAGE!
Latest curriculum newsletter for Autumn 2018
Foundation Stage is an exciting beginning to your child’s school life. We believe that your child learns best through high engagement within our high quality continuous provision.
The Foundation Stage curriculum is broad and embraces all aspects of their development. We work hard to make learning fun and meaningful and inspire the children to love learning for themselves. We provide a balance of child initiated and adult led learning. Every child matters and it is important to us that they all strive and reach their full potential and are confident and happy at school.
We particularly value the use of the outside environment and all the wonderful opportunities it can offer. Throughout the year the children have opportunities to explore the Woodland Area and the school grounds and have daily access to exciting outdoor provision.
A positive home/ school relationship is important to us to develop an open dialogue about your child’s learning and enable us to develop a picture of the whole child and embrace their individual interests.
Mrs Taylor is the Foundation Stage co-ordinator and the teacher in Class 2 with support from Teaching Assistant Mrs Jackson.
