Darwin’s Drawings

Science- Habitats and Animals

As part of our Science topic on Habitats and Animals we looked at the work of Charles Darwin and the observational drawings he made in the Galapagos Islands as part of his work on evolution.  We were then challenged to, using a small picture of an insect, produce a detailed scaled-up drawing: This helped us to focus our attention on the particular features that dictate the classification of these animals as insects.
