It doesn’t seem long ago that the children were starting in reception and here they are embarking on their final year of primary school…

The year 6 team are dedicated to ensuring that all children have the best opportunity possible to achieve their full potential, emotionally, socially and academically. We continue to follow White Rose, examples of our approach to maths can be found in our calculation policy Although a key focus for year 6 will be preparing the children for the demands of secondary school, we will also try to ensure that there is fun along the way and provide opportunities for positive and lasting memories of their time at primary school. The highlight of the year is without a doubt the PGL residential trip in June, where children will be encouraged to further develop their independence, self-confidence, sense of responsibility and team work skills.
