- If your child has been prescribed medication, this can be administered from the school office upon completion of a medicine form. Please note that we are unable to adminster non-prescription over-the-counter medicines. Thank you for your co-operation.
- A reminder that if your child is off with sickness/diarrhea, our guidance is for them to have been clear of symptoms for 48 hours.

- A reminder that school dinner tickets are on sale every morning in the school hall from 8.45am, price £10.50 for a book of 5 tickets.

Introduction

Welcome to our school. Ottery St Mary Primary School is the only primary school in the town and is wholly maintained by the County Education Authority. It is represented by a board of Governors.

The school was first opened in 1967 as an infant school and extended and enlarged in 1975 to a full primary school for the children who will be five during the term in which they start school to the time they are eleven. Children are admitted in September and January.

Pupils of our school are drawn from a traditional 'catchment' area which, in addition to the town of Ottery St Mary, encompasses the hamlets of Wiggaton, Alfington, Gosford, Taleford and Fairmile. For details of our classes, click HERE.

It is an especially exciting time at Ottery St Mary Primary School as our new Key Stage 2 extension opened in September 2009 which contains 10 Classrooms, a library, an ICT Suite, a dance studio and lots more.

It is recommended that you view the site in Internet Explorer 6 or higher.

For all other admission enquiries, you are invited to contact Mrs Pearman in the School Office in the first instance to enquire about availability of spaces in your child's year group.

Dinner Tickets

School Dinner tickets cost £2.10 per day, and are available in the School Hall Monday to Friday mornings from 8.45am. Alternatively, you can buy dinner tickets online - save waiting in the queues!!! Click HERE or visit www.devon.gov.uk. Please note that the DCC website now requires you to log in and register your school and child/ren before purchasing the tickets! Once that is done, the procedure is relatively straightforward. If you have any problems, please let Mrs Pearman in the office know.
